Why Email Data is so powerful for furniture industry?

We analyzed our email database, which has accumulated 58,000 subscribers in 10 years.
We organized things, conducted polls and asked people who subscribed a long time ago (we got their contact information through furniture tradeshows and the website) what they were interested in. That way, we knew exactly what kind of content on marketing we should prepare for the industry professionals.
Why am I so happy about this?
Because the value of this business asset is dozens of times higher than what we get from Instagram. And as far as the degree of “warmness”, there is simply no comparison between the two. ⠀

There are thousands of bloggers on Instagram, each person is subscribed to many people, including acquaintances, celebrities, exes, etc. Your commercial message gets lost in this information noise.⠀

The social media landscape changes constantly: everyone was into LinkedIn or Tweeter at some point, and now everyone has moved to Instagram.
Periscope, Clubhouse, TikTok… In couple of year, a hot new social media platform will emerge and everyone will rush there. If you don’t want to lose your followers, you need… an email! Everyone has it.
Unlike Messenger , WhatsApp , Viber, FB, Insta or TikTok. But every user registers at any platform with an email. ⠀

Convenience in operation and many technical tools, like finely tuned segmentation when you can send people the exact messages they need, depending on the actions taken (did they click on a button, how often they open emails , interests, etc.)⠀
The email database is highly valued in business because this is real contact information for a person, you can always reach them using this data.
Email was here 10 years before Instagram, and will be around long after it.
So if you think about the stability of your business, this is what you need to collect and direct your attention to.
20-30% may seem like a low percentage to some, compared to WhatsApp bots, for example, where messages are opened 100% of the time. However, with every new tool, the percentage goes down eventually and ends up being at the same 20-30% level, and not everybody has WhatsApp, but everybody has email. And the number of orders coming from emails will grow every year if you use this tool right.
