The furniture industry friends!
Let’s share our stories of how we create beauty in this world!
We are searching for new trends, new collections, new experiences for customers who visit our showroom, then take the message of our beauty out into the world.
Stories:
How the brand was created, how collections come from designers and production lines, how you interact with the team during market, share your funny showroom moments!
We all love stories! We follow each other like it’s an exciting reality show, where we totally identify with the characters.
We see these stories everywhere.
A dining room for your Thanksgiving starts its journey a year and a half before that day.
As I started drawing my designs, I would spend hours studying other collections, looking at what market leaders, competitors and celebrity designers were doing. Who are the main players in this field?
It is important to understand the business side of things and identify with our customer. What do our beloved designers need so they can turn separate products into an interior? What is the collection lacking? How can I deliver on the aesthetics but make sure that I don’t blow up our budget? I need to stay grounded and remember what furniture factories can or can’t do.
Then comes the time when I set aside all these practical considerations and allow inspiration to take over! And so it begins… Throes of creation, don’t we just love them? ☺
Everything comes in handy – sketches from my trips around the world, tips from my teachers and my helpers (who also happen to be my clients). I turn into one big sponge during markets, absorbing everything that I hear. I listen to everything they share – all their requests and concerns.
My sales reps are a very important building block to this process. TThey are the ones who interact with customers every day. They know EVERYTHGING (good and bad) about us. Every jewel in the crown of my sales team made their invaluable contribution to my collections.
Working with the sketches at the factory, when engineers make their adjustments in design and proportions, so that we can all enjoy comfortable chairs and a sturdy table at our family celebration. Remember how we started with the Thanksgiving dinner idea?
Then comes the correction and approval process, after which I can finally exhibit the samples for my picky audience – market showroom visitors. But this is not our happy ending yet!
Now I have to stage the show, launch our teasers announcing the grand premier, employ the magic of photography and graphic design, do catalogue layouts and graphic presentations, which will later be sent to customers inviting them to visit your showroom, and also posted on the website and as social media ads. The show is about to start, the bright stage lights are now shining on the actors. This is the real magic!
I need to make sure that designers and buyers fall in love with your stars and order them for their clients.
From sample to mass production with correction and quality control, logistics and inventory management.
Our attentive customer service department will see to it that the client gets their new dining room in time. Delivery guys will bring and assemble everything paying attention to the smallest detail in the assembly scheme, and voila – we have our miracle!
You set the table, invite guests and are excited to hear all the nice things they have to say about your new dining room.
How many of those stories happen all the time!
Let’s tell people how we make the world a more beautiful place!
We can talk about our furniture making families happy for decades. Sometimes furniture even travels around the globe and becomes part of someone’s inheritance.
How do you feel about this idea of sharing your stories with the world?
